Addu is reading and keeping things in a tray (Independently) according to the list of instructions provided!! My long term goal is following written instructions to complete tasks independently in a workplace. I break down into simple steps and train him step by step.I am sure that consistent practice will help him to achieve my long term goal.I am very excited to see how independently he is doing it.Sharing this video for fellow parents.

Today, I was driving back home after dropping Addu to Pragati. Due to heavy traffic, vehicles were moving very slowly and I was driving peacefully, listening to music. Addu went happily to Pragati giving a sweet flying kiss to me, and I was driving back with that happiness. How i taught my son to type - Explained Step by Step

    My son had great difficulty with tripod grip and he was not able to write after his Early Intervention programs.so when he was 8 years old I decided to teach him typing and I taught him step by step. After that I started sharing that videos to help other kids.Lots of parents contacted me for the step by step procedure of typing and so again I am posting it for them. All these steps I did and it helped my son to learn.I hope it will help other kids too. Most important things is CONSISTENCY. We should do step by step consistently. Q: Why structure is important for children with autism? Ans: Most of the children in the spectrum have high anxiety and they need predictable routines. ASD children will struggle if there are sudden changes in their daily routine. a  structured environment with visual schedule will help the child understand his day to day activities.
