Mental health of parents

 Today I would like to discuss the mental health of parents!!

I am sharing some tips.

1. Accept the child the way they are.

2. Don't compare your child to other children.

3. Don't try to cure autism

4. Attend training programs and understand about autism.

5. Empower yourself

6. Believe in yourself that you are enough and you can do it.

7. Keep all the negative people away from your life.

8. Dont spend too much time in social media groups.

9. Plan your day properly by prepairing schedule.

10. Discuss with family members about your struggles and what support you need from them, if u have difficulties.

11. Don't expect that other people will understand your struggles( even your husband🤪).

12. Find a support system to share responsibilities like school, maid, cook or any care taker.

13. Quality time with your child is better than full time.

14. Don't compare your life with others.

15. Everyone has their own struggles.

16. Autism is not a tragedy

17. Work consistently with your child and for taking care of your family. At the same time keep minimum one hour for yourself.

18. Do things that you love to do

19. Exercise regularly.

20. Practice simple yoga and meditation if you are facing anxiety issues.

21. Happiness is a choice!! Choose that and be happy!!
