Time concepts

 Addu learning time concepts. I made a clock like this to make him understand the minute concept. It was very difficult for him to understand in the beginning even though he has his own biological clock concept. We are progressing and he is able to find the correct time. We took print outs of numbers and then stuck it on a paper file. Then I took hands from an old cloth and attached it to this file. Sharing it for fellow parents.

Today, I was driving back home after dropping Addu to Pragati. Due to heavy traffic, vehicles were moving very slowly and I was driving peacefully, listening to music. Addu went happily to Pragati giving a sweet flying kiss to me, and I was driving back with that happiness. How i taught my son to type - Explained Step by Step

    My son had great difficulty with tripod grip and he was not able to write after his Early Intervention programs.so when he was 8 years old I decided to teach him typing and I taught him step by step. After that I started sharing that videos to help other kids.Lots of parents contacted me for the step by step procedure of typing and so again I am posting it for them. All these steps I did and it helped my son to learn.I hope it will help other kids too. Most important things is CONSISTENCY. We should do step by step consistently. Q: Why structure is important for children with autism? Ans: Most of the children in the spectrum have high anxiety and they need predictable routines. ASD children will struggle if there are sudden changes in their daily routine. a  structured environment with visual schedule will help the child understand his day to day activities.
